FAMILY OF DORCAS AND GREEN TURNER OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, NC

What happened to the divided enslaved souls in the above document? Time will have to tell, but it is very possible that the aforementioned Tempy may be the Tempie listed in the 21 Dec 1863 inventory of Edward P. Turner, son of Dorcas and Green Turner.

Also listed in this document is my fourth great-grandfather, Henry Turner, listed as a carpenter here. Time and DNA testing results have proven the other listed individuals to be blood tied, as well.
